Welcome to the home of Crow Creek Kennels. Crow Creek Kennels has been turning some of the best waterfowl, pointing and AKC and HRC Hunt Test Retrievers. We have been professionally providing quality retriever training for over 10 years.
Crow Creek Kennels is located in Carpenter Wyoming 28 miles east of Cheyenne Wyoming. We use the newest and best training methods available. I have studied under the legendary Grady Istre of Reibar kennels, the maker of over 35 FC/AFC’S. Since I have moved away from California I have trained with some of the areas best, to include Ken McCartney and John Bayer. Both have titled numerous FC’s and AFC’s and qualified several dogs for the National.
We have constructed a new Air Conditioned and heated kennel. Here we like to keep our training numbers low, this ensures we are able to provide individualized training for each of our dogs. We use the field tested training methods of Mike Lardy, and his Total Retriever Training program. Our training program is updated with the latest and most productive methods available, ensuring we give your dog the best retriever training around.
We understand these working dogs need to be in perfect physical shape, this is why we do fun runs 3 times a week for 3 miles each time. This is one of the dogs favorite times of the training, I feel this boost attitude and boils over into the productivity of each training day. We compete in all Wyoming, Colorado and some Nebraska AKC and HRC Hunt test. We are also avid waterfowlers, so we know what is required to be a good gun dog.
